Shelby Toompas is festival princess.
Shelby Elizabeth Toompas of Bridgeport, WV has been appointed Princess for the 74th Mountain State Forest Festival by Joseph Minard. Shelby is the daughter of Stephen and Kimberly Toompas of Bridgeport, WV. She is the granddaughter of Evelyn and the late Edward Toompas of Bridgeport, WV, Mary Johnson and Richard Johnson of Clarksburg, WV. She has one sister, Amanda.
Shelby is a 2010 graduate of Robert C. Byrd High School where she was a member of Band, Dance Team, Key Club, SADD and Student Council Camp Honors Council. She was also named to Prom Court. She served as Band Librarian and Class Treasurer. Shelby attended Rhododendron Girls State and was March Girl of the Month. Shelby attends West Virginia University and majors in Journalism. She attends Fellowship Bible Church.
