Latalia White is festival princess.
Latalia Danielle White of Elkins, WV has been appointed Princess for the 74th Mountain State Forest Festival by Clyde Thompson. Latalia is the daughter of Timothy and Angela White of Elkins, WV. She is the granddaughter of Benjamin and Evelyn White of Elkins, WV, Rodney and Linda Butler of Harman, WV and John and Sherry Fields of Ohio. She has one brother, Lukas.
Latalia is a 2009 graduate of Elkins High School where she served as valedictorian of her class. She was President of both EHS Key Club and National Honor Society. She was also a member of EHS Young Republicans and Spanish Honor Society. Latalia also attended Rhododendron Girls State and participated in EHS Theatre. She participated in Randolph County 4-H Teen Leaders where she held the office of President and was a member of Woodford Memorial United Methodist Church Youth Group.
Latalia attends Princeton University where she majors in History. She was a participant in the Princeton in Petersburg Program where she studied in St. Petersburg, Russia.
