Chelsea Langevin is festival princess.
Chelsea Elizabeth Langevin of Elkins, WV has been appointed Princess for the 74th Mountain State Forest Festival by Director of the Department of Natural Resources, Frank Jezioro. Chelsea is the daughter of Harold and Donna Langevin of Elkins, WV. She is the granddaughter of Barbara Langevin of Elkins. She has one brother, Jonathan Langevin, and one sister, Erin Golden.
Chelsea is a 2009 graduate of Elkins High School where she was a four year band member, section leader and senior drum major and participant in Virginia Tech and WVU Honor bands. She also participated in EHS Young Democrats Club and 4H High Riders Club. A member of the National Honor Society, she was also Vice-President of EHS International Club.
Chelsea attends Shepherd University where she majors in Biology with a concentration in Ecological Science and is a Promise Scholar and a member of the Honors Program. Her hobbies include creative writing, horseback riding and training, reading, outdoor activities, and traveling around the world. She is an active church member and youth representative
