Adriene Nestor is festival princess.
Adriene Brooke Nestor of Hambleton has been appointed Princess for the 74th Mountain State Forest Festival by WV Commissioner of Agriculture Guy Douglass. Adriene is the daughter of Darrell and Linda Nestor of Hambleton. She is the granddaughter of George and Diane Helms and Dale and Marty Nestor, all of Parsons and Savannah and the late Charles Rhodes of DryFork. She has one brother, Connor. Adriene is a 2010 graduate of Tucker County High School where she was an honor roll student. She was a member of National Honors Society, National Society of High School Scholars, TCHS Athletic Trainer for Football Team, Homecoming Queen, Homeroom Representative, Junior Class Officer, Prom Committee, Spirit Club, Track and Field Team and assistant, Student Council, Homecoming Float Committee, HOSA, WV State Science and Engineering Fair and Yearbook Staff. She received the National Honor Roll Award for Academic Achievement and Student of the Year Award. She was a member of RAZE, Tucker County Relay for Life and a Makoi Student. She attends Fairmont State University where she majors in Biology and plans to attend medical school.
