Rachel Taylor is festival princess.
Rachel Kathleen Taylor of Ripley has been appointed Princess for the 74th Mountain State Forest Festival by WV Division of Culture & History Commissioner Randall Reid-Smith. Rachel is the daughter of Roscoe and Laura Taylor of Ripley. She is the granddaughter of Tom and Janice Stemple of Ripley and the late Lawrence and Lucy Taylor of Sandyville. She has two siblings, Jared and Haley.
Rachel is a 2007 graduate of Ripley High School where she was a member of Hi-Y, Anchor Club, National Junior Honor Society, girls softball and Mu Alpha Theta. A contributor to Ripley High School’s newspaper, the Viking Press, she was also DECA state president during her senior year.
Rachel is currently an intern through the WV Governor’s Internship Program and attends West Virginia University. She is a member of the Dean’s List, Kappa Kappa Gamma Sorority, Sigma Alpha Lambda Honorary fraternity and Student Government Public Relations Team. She is a member of Epworth United Methodist Church in Ripley. Her future plans include being a lobbyist for the state of WV. Some of my hobbies include reading, exercising, shopping and spending time with my family and friends.
