Alyson Leo is festival princess.
Alyson Margaret Leo of Elkins has been appointed Princess for the 74th Mountain State Forest Festival by Senator Clark Barnes. Alyson is the daughter of Marshall and Kathleen Leo. She is the granddaughter of the late Ralph and Susan Leo and the late Bert and Dorris Carothers. She has one brother, Chris.
Alyson is a 2009 graduate of Elkins High School where she graduated in the top 10 of her class. She was Student Body Vice President, a member of National Honors Society and Spanish National Honors Society. She was a four-year member of the EHS tennis team. She currently attends WVU where she is enrolled in the Honors Program and is an Exercise Physiology Major. She is a PROMISE Scholar and has been on the President’s List for her Freshman Year. Her hobbies include playing tennis.
