Attention: Band Field Show
Spend the evening at Wimer Field for an entertaining evening of high school band and field performances. Bleacher seating is provided. The EHS Athletic Boosters will provide concessions.
The cost to enter the gate will be $10.00.
Nearly 20 bands will compete in the Spectacle of Bands High School Band Field Competition. Bands from across West Virginia will compete for top honors in their class and the opportunity to take home the Grand Champion trophy and be named the Official Honor Band for the 2011 festival.
“This will be an exciting show,” states the Assistant Director “we have one of the largest shows in the area and actually have a waiting list of applicants by July. Bands have always been an important part of the festival and we are pleased that we are able to attract so many quality groups.” The festival show and parade is sanctioned and professionally judged by the Tournament of Bands.
